Since 1964 we have been manufacturing trailer units within the Bedfordshire area. As a family run privately owned company our rationale has always been to develop innovative trailers that we can manufacture to a high quality standard. The move to a modern 32,000 sq ft factory in 2007 provided the opportunity to build a more extensive range of units in house.

The AJC approach has always been to develop innovative new products to meet customer requirements. Working collaboratively with market leading suppliers allows us develop industry solutions without compromise in shorter time periods. An example of our collaborative working is our strategic relationship with ECiS (Eberspächer). Our existing EasyCabin construction is incredibly energy efficient, through working with ECiS we will install energy systems that will provide heat, light and power.

We live and work in rapidly changing times.

The Health and Safety at Work Act for Welfare Regulations 20 to 25 guaranteeing certain facilities for contractors working on site i.e. sanitary conveniences, washing facilities, access to drinking water, accommodation for drying and changing clothes, and an area for rest and eating led to the development of EasyCabin mobile welfare units.

These regulations stipulate that a contractor must provide certain statuary facilities for all site workers.
        Sanitary conveniences (regulation 20),
        Washing facilities (regulation 21),
        Drinking water (regulation 22),
        A place for drying clothes (regulation 23),
        Facilities for changing clothes (regulation 24)
        Somewhere to rest and eat (regulation 25).

The next key legislation
New H&S legislation is due for towing type approval, progressing to type approval October 2012. AJC is currently implementing a design programme to ensure that EasyCabins will be type approved to meet the legislation
