It is the intention of Bedfordshire and Luton fire and Rescue service to provide toilet and wash room facilities for their operational staff attending fires and other incidents so they commissioned AJC to provide three mobile welfare support toilet units.  Each unit is self-contained and ready for deployment at any time anywhere in Bedfordshire.  The units were exhibited at the CFOA Fleet Engineers conference at Moreton le Marsh to demonstrate how they had been adapted to provide more space for fire fighters with the their equipment.  Batteries power an Eberspacher heating system.  These are recharged via mains plug-in when the units are on standby back at the station.
